For those who do not know, the one thing I will never say “no” to is going to UNC sporting events. Carolina athletics is one of my favorite aspects about attending this university. In the past four weeks, I’ve been to multiple games for the men’s and women’s NCAA soccer tournaments, field hockey, football, and basketball games as well as gymnastics intrasquad meets. I even got to go to the women’s soccer ACC Championship game between UNC and Florida State in Cary and am going to the national championship on Monday! Sports is something that I grew up playing, and now, even though I do not physically play at the level I used to, I still fulfill my passion through watching them. It is an environment where I feel at peace and can take a step back from my studies for 2 hours or so. Now that football season is over, I am so excited for all the winter/spring sports to commence their seasons and chase national championships. Theres truly nothing like Carolina Athletics, and I am so grateful to be at a university with as reputable sports programs as UNC has.
